I see you
I think in the end, we all just want to be seen, seen as something more than our outer body. For me, that’s what yoga reminds me to do….. to SEE the light in you. To recognize that we are all ONE and we all come from the same one. This is a hard practice to do on a daily minute by minute life. BUT…. if we try, truly try to remember this… then we can and will change and that change will bring about a shift to our world. It begins each day, each minute, it begins now… so… I see you!

Sun and Moon Love Affair
I have always thought of the Sun and Moon to be the greatest love affair. They give and give so we may live a balanced life, often only getting a glimpse of each-other. The sun sending it rays of warmth to heat the planet and the Moon sending is cooling shadow to balance the heat. When you think about it, it’s really quite magical. In yoga, the Sun represents the male side our right side of our body the Moon represents the female side our left side of the body.
Hope you enjoy ~ wishing you a balanced day and oh yea, have a happy!
New Moon and New Year
Today and Tonight, what a magical event, not only is it the start of a New Year and the passing of an old year, we are also in a New Moon phase. When in a New Moon phase (no moon to be seen) the Sun and Moon are in perfect alignment. This coinciding with the start of a New Year creates a tremendous magical time. It’s the perfect time to manifest your deepest desires. Set your intentions and give them up to the power of the universe. In Tibetan beliefs, the earth breathes in-and-out in connection to the moon, the New Moon phase is a time to breathe-in deeply and slowly moving into a calm mind-set. When we are calm and using our breath we become a witness to our emotions and can watch our emotions come and go without becoming attached to them. This calmness helps you see your life, let go of what no longer serves you and see the possibilities of your future. What do you really want out of life? What makes your heart sing and your soul dance? You are never too old or lacking to begin a new phase in your life.
Go outside tonight, sit and be with the moon, breathe in-and-out in a slow rhythm and ask yourself, what is my true purpose in life? Why am I here on Earth? What are my spiritual intentions? Ask yourself these questions, breathe them in-and-out and let go of analyzing the answers that come. If you are already in tune with your true purpose, then ask the Universe, how can I deepen my path, how can I serve more and how can I give more.
When you are living your soul’s purpose in life, you feel energized, joyous, and happy; you walk on could 10 and feel God’s love vibrating in your body. You connect with the Universe and vibrate with the Earth. You are spreading peace and you are healing our world. You are an anchor of light and love and are a spiritual healer and you do this by spreading your positive vibrational energy out to other people, the earth and the Universe.
Living our true purpose in life can take years and years to find, it often comes after spending half of our life time living our responsibilities and learning life lessons. When age comes, we find that our alignment shifts and we discover that what was once important, no longer is. If you are lucky, you can find your path early in life, but the important part is to find it. Every day that you can live your life in alignment with your true purpose is a life walking hand in hand with God.
While sitting outside tonight, remember to end your communion with the Moon, Universe, and God with thankfulness and gratefulness. Be thankful for all the lessons in your life, they were all there to teach you something. Be thankful for all the wonderful positive blessings that are on its way to you in this 2014 magical year. Be thankful and grateful every day. Every day is a gift.
Peace in =’s Peace out

A New Day
Each day is a new day to begin again. This is my motto. This is how I live my life. Every day we should wake up and say, “thank you for this beautiful new day”.
Some days that smile simply appears on my face for no other reason than… life is beautiful. Then there those days where you start out with that smile but then obstacles confront you and it slowly fades. Being on my journey to self-discovery and spiritual awareness, at first this was hard. I felt like a failure if my smile faded. I felt like I had failed on my journey, that I was for lack of a better word, a hypocrite. How can I call myself a spiritual person? How can I say I am living a mindful life? How can I call myself a positive person if I cannot myself keep a positive, mindful, spiritual, calm way of BEING all the time? I don’t want to say life is hard, I don’t want to give the universe that “negative” vibration, but life does get distracting at times and being a spiritual being having a human experience, I guess we’re all subject to an assortment and ranges of emotions and distractions. Having been on this journey for some time now, I can confidently say that yes, I am a better person. I do see the changes in my being and how I handle situations that arise. I “catch” myself on my off days and I am better equipped to handle my reactions or forewarn my family that I’m a little OFF today. I can view my reactions from a sort of outer body experience and I can forgive myself for not being perfect, after all, if I were perfect, there would be nothing more for me to learn on earth and thus my time here would be done.
Every day is a new day, and if you make a mistake, if you lose your happy spot, if you forget and have a meltdown, if you say something that you regret and if you find that your smile has slacked into a frown, don’t beat yourself up. Remind yourself that tomorrow is a new day and you can try again. If you can recognized that you were a little “off” if you can recognized it, than you ARE on your path to becoming a better spiritual being having a human experience.
Wishing you a NEW DAY
