Welcome 2014 with a New Vision Board
Create yourself a vision board and watch the magic of manifestation happen!
I posted this before, but I think it’s a good time to re-post it. As the new year is knocking on our doors, it’s time to reflect on what we want out of 2014 and to let go of what no longer serves us for 2013. I’ll be creating a new board this week and really taking stock of my life and what I want to manifest. The more I dive deeper into my yoga practice, I’m finding my attention is shifting inward, It’ll be interesting to see what my vision board will look like when I’m done.
A vision board is a project created by you to help manifest all you want to have in your life. It’s a place to declare to the Universe that you want your dreams, goals, ideas or martial objects in your time frame in your life.
The creative process in putting together a vision board is very important. When we create it with our hands, when we write it with our fingers, we are declaring it to the Universe in our hands-on vibrations. This is what I want! This is how I want to feel! This is who I wish to be!
A vision board should be placed in a special place in your home where you can look upon it every day. I suggest your bedroom. Sit and look upon your vision board and feel that you have everything you wish to have right that very moment. Have your coffee, tea, or water and breathe in your visions and say, “thank you, thank you Universe”.
The Process
• Cut, draw, glue, pictures and sayings from books, magazines, photos; it’s a collage of dreams to come true. Place your goals, your personal achievements that you want to reach, your material objects you what to have, your state of mind you are trying to reach. Place them on your vision board and then release the “attachment” of obsessing over it each day and let it go to the Universe. Then when you sit each day and absorb your creating, put a smile on your face and FEEL the feeling of having already achieved and received all that is on your board.
(When I first began, I used poster board, then canvas board and now I use a bulletin board)
WOW… it is a magical creation. But I will caution you, you might think you want that new car… but when it comes down to actually creating your vision board, you might find your focus on more mind and heart feelings other that material obtainment’s.
I have taught classes on creating a vision board and meditations on finding out what you truthfully want in life, if you would like more help in finding this out, let me know. I’m happy to help. The more positive happy people in life, the more peaceful our world!
Good luck and happy creating! Have a happy Day!

From the Copra Center, a great place to learn. How may I serve. It’s amazing that when we put our focus and energy on how we can better help humanity, how wonderful our life becomes. So ask yourself today, how may I serve?
A Helping Hand
Never be to busy that you can’t lend a helping hand. The holiday season always reminds us of this. Everyone is always busy donating toys to children and turkey dinners to families in need, which is great, but don’t forget about our elderly. My grandmother is currently in a Alzheimer’s care home, the people there may not have their memories left, but they do have feelings. They just want someone to sit with them. If you’ve never been to a home before, it’s an eye opener. May I never lose my wits about me and may God bless all those who have. So if you need a mission, go ask an Alzheimer’s care home or any type of elder care home, “how can I be of service” a little time to sit with someone, hold their hand, sing a song or tell a story too…Oh, they wont remember you visited but you will. And I do believe that for a little while… you’ll bring joy to their little world. Spread Joy, love, and compassion, that’s the true Christmas spirit.
Elephant
One of my creations in my newest collection, the Elephant. When I start a doddle like this, I never quite know how it’ll turn out, but they always seem to form a pattern and the colors all seems to work out just right. This Elephant has receive a lot of attention via my Red-bubble store. It’s awesome to think someone somewhere is wearing a T-shirt with my design on it and others have purchased some stickers and cards as well. It’s just awesome, I put positive vibrations into my art, creating them with love and now my creation is…out there… I like to believe that positive energy is still spreading.

Stop the Addiction
I sit in my car down at the plaza and just watch, watch people scurrying back- in-forth with their many bags in toe, shopping, buying, more and more stuff. The American Shopper, how much stuff do we really need? I would be lying if I said that that was never me, but it was me, not long ago, I was just like them, scurrying around in the rat race, buying yet another trinket to sit on a shelf to collect dust. It’s only been in the last year or so as I have depended my yoga and meditation practice that I have come to loath shopping, loath stuff, and loath the American, “more” life style. How much do we actually need to live? We need food, clothing, and shelter. When I think about people all around the world that only worry about their next meal, digging thought the city’s trash to find clothing, or sifting water out of a drinking hole to try and get a cup of drinkable water, it makes me sad. I feel sad that so many people have so much when others have so little. But even in the West, we have our poverty, our starving, and our homeless. Even here in the land of plenty, we have people in need. BUT, it’s never too late to wake up and break the addiction of shop, buy, spend, and more… YOU can use that energy to help more, give more, and shop less. Take a look around your home, what do you really need? It’s time to clean house, donate, give, and live the life style of “less is more”…. Less “stuff” equals less clutter in the home and the mind.
Next time you go into town, just sit in your car and watch, observe, listen and ask yourself, how much do we really need? Don’t become a shopping zombie, stop the addiction of shop, buy, spend, and more. And as you deepen your yoga, meditation, and spiritual path, you’ll find yourself needing less and less “stuff” …. And having more and more peace.
Grow Love
We are nothing if we do not have love. We are nothing if we do not give love. We are nothing if we can not be love. And we are nothing if we do not realize that ALL of life is love. Remember, all of creation was made from love, from the simplest weed, to the smallest bug, to the largest tree, to you and me. We were all created from love. So if you question, why am I here, what is my purpose, what am I supposed to do…………….the correct answer is simply to Love, be, give, and share Love. We were all planted with the same seed, Love. Water it, care for it, share it.
